mines and wines tour
Sometimes as locals we forget the deep, juicy, and vast history that Park City has and learning about it is still SO much fun for us. Kirsten Fox, owner of Fox School of Wines, Headmistress of the tour, Twisted Cork Radio host, and former Huffington Post wine blogger / executive sommelier, takes you through a robust lineup of wine each paired with a unique, historic Park City locations throughout town. Discover the Ontario Mine, Miner's Hospital, First National Bank on Main Street, Silver King Consolidated HQ, and the Red Light District. Light, paired nibbles are included.
HISTORIC GHOST TOUR
With Park City’s rich mining history, naturally, our town comes with its fair share of spooky ghost stories. Park City Ghost Tours takes you on a 75-minute walking tour of historic Park City where you will learn about some of our most famous ghosts, where they hang out, and see the many haunted buildings around Main Street. Tours leave every day from Miner's Park (across from 415 Main Street); 8:00pm.

Gaze out over Kamas Valley as you ascend thousands of feet into the sky with the Wasatch Mountains forming a rugged skyline to the west and the streets of Park City gradually getting smaller and smaller. Mountains meet amusement park with Park City’s alpine coaster, a thrilling and unique ride you just have to experience. The coaster features an elevated track that twists and turns over a mile of loops, curves, and turns, offering spectacular views of mountain scenery. Each car can fit two passengers, and you are responsible for driving the car over the track. If racing downhill through fields and mountain terrain appeals to you, look no further.

Park City’s historic roots grow deeper than those of your average ski town. Long before it hosted the Winter Olympics, it was home to the largest silver mining community in the United States.

You can golf in Park City the same day you fly in. It's true. Park City golf courses are less than an hour away from Salt Lake City International Airport. utah olympic park
The Utah Olympic Park is a winter sports park built for the 2002 Winter Olympics. The nearly 400 acre venue houses one of only four sliding tracks in North America, six Nordic ski jumps, a 2002 Winter Games museum, and a multitude of adventure activities open to the public including a summer bobsled, ziplines, ropes courses, and the opportunity to sled down TWO of the ski jumping landings! Utah Olympic Park is a dynamic multi-use facility focused on developing and growing participation in winter sports in the state of Utah and is an official USOC Training Site.
fly-fishing
Park City may have the greatest snow on earth, but the town isn’t just for skiers. When the snow melts, all that melted snow needs to go somewhere. By May, all that powder becomes some of the most beautiful and pristine rivers in the Wasatch Range. Flies and larva begin to hatch, and fly fishing season is in full swing in Park City.
A short cast away from downtown Park City are two of the fishiest rivers in the Rockies - The Weber and The Provo. Both are blue ribbon fisheries.
